I have brown hair!

I decided my red era had come to end. I sat in a seminar last Monday a little bored so decided I would head into town straight after and enquire about turning my hair brown. I had heard that red hair was a pain to get rid of so thought I'd ask before demanding. I went to Celly's hair salon in Leicester. Basically the price list is set out so everything costs £9.90 (depending on hair length). I was really impressed! I got to pick between 2 different shades of brown that would cover my red and I went for the darker because I felt the lighter one looked like it had a grey tinge and a little dull as well. My hair took around 2 hours after applying the colour, leaving it in, washing it out then blow drying. Everyone was very kind and it didn't have that pretentious air that hair salons usually have (Only me? "I cut hair so I'm better than you!")

BEFORE!
(Taken on Monday, I went RSPCA and I need this dog!)

AFTER!

All together my hair cost £29.70 which included the colouring which was £19.80 because if your hair is shoulder length or longer it is double. Then I had a blow dry which was again £9.90. I kind of liked the basic price list as it's so less complicated and you know exactly what you are paying for. I really recommend this salon as it was so affordable and I got the results I wanted! Another thing that is great about the salon as it is no appointment needed. This would be good at a time that wasn't half term, damn it.
My hair has a slight tinge of red in the sun which I like as it breaks up my dark colour. I've been told I look older with brown hair and on the other hand my mum said "Ohh, I liked your red hair!" and that I looked pale. haha! Goodbye red hair!

What do you think? Have you found it hard getting red of your red hair?
